Manu Puduvalli

Hello! Welcome to my site. You'll notice it skips the flashy graphics and AI chatbots trying to read your mind. I've never been a fan of those bloated front-end frameworks.

So instead of yelling at 1,000-line stack traces, I took a page from 1996 — back when websites were fast, simple, and didn't require a PhD in Node. This site sticks to the basics: plain ol' vanilla JS, HTML, and CSS. :)

No popups, no pressure - this corner of the web is yours now. By the end, we'll be internet friends.

How'd I get here?

Graduation Cap

I graduated summa cum laude from The University of Georgia with a degree in Computer Science (Yes, I'm able to write SQL queries that don't take down production... so far).

Job Icon

I'm currently a Software Engineer @ McKesson, working on neat healthcare solutions for the 340B Program. Previously, I was a Consultant @ Deloitte, where I collaborated with top banking executives across large institutions, de-novo banks, and fintechs focused on disruptive innovation. During that time, I developed deep expertise in building & integrating cutting-edge banking products on next-gen cores (namely Finxact, Thought Machine, and Pismo).

What floats my boat?

Boeing 737

Outside of code, I'm a commercial aviation nerd. I built a small 737 simulator rig at home, where I run MSFS 2024 and work my way towards becoming a pilot. Yes, it has working switches. No, I haven't tried flying it on VATSIM… yet. I'm one of the few people you'll meet that's happy to be stuck at the airport.

The Great Outdoors

I also enjoy outdoor activities; I dabble a bit in ultimate frisbee and running, though my pace is best described as 'motivated sloth'.

Code Block

Linked below is my GitHub. There was a time when I had enough caffeine intake to spin up side projects. Along with my friends who are equally allergic to sleep, we've won hackathons and awards for our projects. I'm really proud of some of the things I've worked on in the past few years.
